CM dedicates projects worth Rs. 52 crore in Haroli constituency

Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh inaugurating flood Monitoring Centre Ghaluwal in Una district on 27 March 2016.

Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh today announced Sub-Tehsil at Dulehar in Haroli constituency of Una district. He made this announcement while addressing a public meeting at Dulehar.

He said that the channelisation of Swan river and its 73 tributaries had proved to be a boon to the people of Una District but the central share had not been given to the state since last financial year which had delayed the completion of this work. He had written to the Prime Minister to fulfil the commitment and provide the remaining funds for undertaking the left out work of the channelisation as the State government had already given its share.  

He said that it was well understood concept that the Opposition always criticize the ruling government and also point out errors in governance, if any, in a healthy manner, However, seems that the State BJP legislators attend the assembly sessions merely for obtaining daily allowances and disrupting the proceedings of the House. It was surprising why they always indulge in bickering and mudslinging, he said, adding that he always welcome healthy criticism, which help in correcting the incorrect. 

Shri Virbhadra Singh said that the congress believes in equal and overall development of the state and the government equally distributes funds to all MLAs irrespective of party affiliations for undertaking development in their areas and for the very reason the MLA grants had been enhanced to rupees one crore.

The Chief Minister announced opening of Government college at Khad, ITI at Pandoga, Primary Health Centre (PHC) at  Kuthar Beet, Ayurveda hospital at Saloh and Agriculture Grading centre and Seed Store at Haroli.

He announced up-gradation of Veterinary dispensary, Khad to Veterinary hospital, up-gradation of Government Middle School Thakaran to Government High School and to construct play Ground at Badheda Upper.

He announced to start Science classes in GSSS  Rora, Beetan and Ispur, Commerce classes in GSSS Badheda,  Khad and Panjwar and up-gradation of Kungarat PHC  to Community Health Centre besides Sub-Divisional Soil conservation office at Haroli.

Various developmental projects dedicated in Haroli constituency:

The Chief Minister today inaugurated flood Monitoring Centre and rest house at Ghaluwal completed with an outlay of  rupees five crore, Rs. 15 crore Community Facility Centre at Bathu, Primary Health Centre at Panjawar completed with a cost of rupees two crore. He also inaugurated Rs.85 lakh Science block building of GSSS Bhadsali, Rs 85 lakh science block building of GSSS Saloh, and Labour hostel at Dulehar completed with an outlay of rupees five crore.

He also laid foundation stones of and Common Facility Centre and Women  Hostel at Pandoga  to cost Rs. 11 crore and Rs 6.60 crore respectively and Pandoga Khad bridge to cost Rs 3.50 crore. He also laid foundation stone of Polyclinic of Animal Husbandry department at Lahiri  to cost Rs. 1.2 crore.

Industries and Public Relations Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating development projects worth Rs 50 crore in his constituency in a single day. He listed the developmental projects undertaken in Haroli to make it as a ‘Model assembly constituency’ of the State. 

Shri Agnihotri said the NDA government along-with few state BJP leaders were trying their best to oust the state government but they had forgotton that Shri Virbhadra was a man of masses. Twice they framed false charges against him when in power but every time Shri Virbhadra Singh came out unscathed after facing the session trials. He said that since coming in to the power, the NDA government and few of its Ministers were pressuring the intelligence agencies, including the Enforcement Directorate and CBI to de-throne the Chef Minister. He also lambasted the NDA for imposing taxes on Jewellery and quipped that it seems that their claims for strengthening women were false.

On the statements of state BJP leaders to stall Vidhan Sabha, Minister said that the sessions would continue as usual and the Budget would also be passed with full majority.

He urged that the BJP will play a positive role and co-operate in the left-out assembly sessions.

The Minister appreciated the Chief Minister for his farsightedness as  for providing assistance to general BPL families for construction of houses.

Shri Agnihotri also presented a cheque of Rs 35 lakh as dividend to the Chief Minister along-with Vice-Chairman, GIC, Shri Surinder Pal.

Simmi Agnihotri, Ex-MLA, Ganesh Dutt Barwal, Member, State Women Commission, Promila Devi, Member BoD, OBC Commission, Dharam Singh, Member, BoD, GIC, Pawan Thakur,   DC, Una Yunus Khan, SP, Anupam Sharma Director I&PR Dr. M.P.Sood, Director, Industries, Amit Kashyap, were also present on the occasion amongst others.

P.K Dhumal not a Astrologer

While talking to media on the sidelines of the function, the Chief Minister said that the tall claims of BJP and Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal for declaring deadline that the present government would soon be dethroned  before elections, was a mere speculation of Prem Kumar Dhumal, a dream which would never be fulfilled. He said that Dhumal was not an astrologer who could predict the future as the congress government would complete its full tenure of five years and the congress would repeat itself in next general elections.
