VC of Jaypee university of Information Technology calls on Governor

Vice-Chancellor of Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan Professor Rajendra Kumar Sharma called on Governor Kavinder Gupta at Lok Bhavan in Shimla, today.

The Governor emphasized the importance of quality education and research in shaping the future of the youth and contributing to the overall development of the State. He stressed that universities must focus on providing skill-based and employment-oriented education in line with the evolving needs of society and industry. He also highlighted the significance of adopting modern technologies and encouraging research and entrepreneurship among students.

Sh. Gupta expressed confidence that Jaypee University of Information Technology would continue to play a vital role in advancing technical education and fostering innovation in Himachal Pradesh. He also appreciated the efforts of the University in maintaining high academic standards and contributing to the development of skilled human resources.

In his courtesy call, the Vice-Chancellor apprised the Governor about the various academic, research and developmental activities being undertaken by the University. He also shared information regarding ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening technical education, promoting innovation and enhancing industry-academia collaboration within the institution.

Brigadier (Retd) RK Sharma, Registrar, Jaypee University of Information Technology was also present on the occasion.
