CM presides over Akhand Shiksha Jyoti Mere School Se Nikle Moti function of GSSS Saroa

  • Announces veterinary hospital at Bara and Rs. 10 lakh for helipad at Saroa

 

Rupees 50 lakhs each would be provided for construction of Science blocks in Government Senior Secondary Schools Saroa and Government Senior Secondary School Bara and science classes would be started in these schools from next session. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur announced this while presiding over the function ‘Akhand Shiksha Jyoti Mere School Se Nikle Moti’ organized at Government Senior Secondary School Saroa in Siraj Vidhan Sabha Assembly Constituency in Mandi district today.

The Chief Minister said that Akhand Shiksha Jyoti Mere School Se Nikle Moti was aimed at honouring the old students of government schools in the State. This was not only helping to acknowledge the contribution of these old students to the society, but also motivating the school students to work hard to achieve success in life, he added. 

Jai Ram Thakur said that the country was safe in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and today India was poised to emerge as world leader under his able and strong leadership. He said that the people of the State were rock solid behind every decision of Central Leadership being taken against Pakistan. Himachal Pradesh was not only Dev Bhoomi, but it was also a Vir Bhoomi, which has a maximum number of serving soldiers and ex servicemen in armed forces. 

The Chief Minister said that the one year tenure of the State government was full of achievements and accomplishments. Every section of the society and every area of the State was benefitted by policies and programmes initiated by the State government. He said that Jan Manch launched by the State government has ensured that the problems and grievances of the people get redressed nearer to their homes. The present Government from the day one was working with the sole objective of welfare of the poor living at the lowest ebb.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the State government in the budget for the next financial year has also decided that employment would be provided on compassionate grounds to employees dying in harness, whereas the previous State government was providing employment on compassionate ground only to the dependent of the employee who had died in service below the age of fifty years. He said that several other welfare schemes have also been announced in the budget for the next financial year.

He said that the Central government has decided to provide Rs. 6000 every year to all the farmers with less than 25 bighas of land and almost 90 percent farmers of the State would be covered under this scheme. The Ujjawala Yojna launched by the Union government has ensure smoke free kitchens in the country. The State has launched Grihini Suvidha Yojana for providing free gas connection to left out families in the state. As many of 50,000 families have been provided free gas connection till date, besides deciding to provide one free refill cylinder under this scheme, he added.

Jai Ram Thakur said that Him Care Scheme has also been launched for providing health cover of Rs. 5 lakh. He announced opening of Health Sub Centres at Tandi, Shimlidhar and Kashad. He announced Rs. 10 lakh for construction of examination hall and construction of two rooms at Primary School Saroa. He also announced veterinary hospital at Bara and Rs. 10 lakh for construction of helipad at Saroa and Rs. 65 lakh for construction of various link roads in the area. Earlier Chief Minister laid foundation stone of Saroa-Latogali lift irrigation scheme to be constructed by spending an amount of Rs. 65 lakh.

The Chief Minister also announced upgradation of Primary School Saraji to Middle School and Middle School Johat to High School. He also announced construction of PHC building at Bara. He announced Rs. 31000 to the school students presenting cultural programme on the occasion from his discretionary fund. He announced a new Patwar circle for Kuklah.

The Chief Minister honoured the pass outs of the school on the occasion under the ‘Akhand Shiksha Jyoti Mere School Se Nikle Moti’.

He also provided Dholak, Chimta, mats, wheel chairs, hearing aid, walking sticks and other equipments to various Mahila Mandals of Siraj on behalf of the ‘Hans Trust’ and the State government and thanked Parminder Bist of Hans Foundation for this philanthropic efforts. He said that Rs. 20,000 would also be provided to every Mahila Mandals of his constituency, besides the equipments provided to them today in this function.

In-charge of Himachal Pradesh for Lok Sabha elections T.S.Rawat said that the State government was forging ahead on the path of progress and prosperity under a young leadership of Jai Ram Thakur. He said that there was anger against Pakistan for the cowardly act of Pakistan supported terrorists at Pulwama recently. The country under Prime Minister Narendra Modi was capable of giving befitting reply to Pakistan and terrorists. He said that schemes such as Swachhat Bharat Abhiyan, Ayushmann Bharat, Mudra Yojna, Jan Dhan Yojna, UDAN Yojna etc. have ensured transformation of the Nation.

Forest and Transport Minister Govind Thakur said that the people  of the State were fortunate to have a dynamic Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. He also lauded the philanthropic efforts of the Hans Foundation for providing assistance to the needy and the poor. The State Government was also committed to ensure that everyone in the country was devoid of quality treatment for want of money. 

Member of Parliament Ram Swaroop Sharma thanked the Chief Minister for increasing the social security pension of senior citizen from Rs. 1300 to Rs. 1500 in the budget for the next financial year. He also detailed various Central schemes on the occasion.

Principal of the School Binti Devi welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries present on the occasion. She also read out the annual report of school. Principal, Staff and students presented a cheque of Rs. 31000 to the Chief Minister towards CMRF on the occasion.

Chairperson HP State Hospital Red Cross Society Dr. Sadhna Thakur, MLAs Vinod Kumar and Jawahar Thakur, Chairman MILKFED Nihal Chand Sharma, Chairman Wakf Board Raj Bali, Deputy Commissioner Mandi Rugved Thakur, SP Gurdev Sharma were also present on the occasion. 

Over 1200 Congress Workers of Siraj Assembly Constituency Join BJP

Over 1200 Congress leaders of Siraj Vidhan Sabha joined the BJP at Saroa in presence of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. 

While welcoming the workers, Chief Minister ensured that they would get due respect and place in the party. Every worker in the party was equal and has the responsibility to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a strong and vibrant nation.

President Siraj BJP Mandal Sher Singh welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
