Achievements of Tiger Rapta will inspire sportsmen in the state : Governor

Wrestler Tiger Rapta calls on Governor Acharya Devvrat at Raj Bhawan in Shimla on 10 July 2019

Noted wrestler and commonwealth heavy weight wrestling title holder Tiger Rapta called on Governor Acharya Devvrat at Raj Bhawan today.

The Governor lauded the achievements of Tiger Rapta, in wrestling arena in international bouts that raised morale of sportsman of the state. He said achievements of Tiger Rapta will inspire sportsman in the state where wrestling is still one of the most popular sports.

Governor said that climatic conditions of the state are conducive for growth of sports activities and asked youth of the state to activity participate in sports activities as it is emerging as popular career option.
