Governor visits Hisar agriculture university

                           Governor Acharya Devvrat visited Haryana agriculture university, Hisar on Saturday where Vice Chancellor Prof. K.P Singh apprised him about the activities being undertaken by various research centres.

He also took stock of works being done by the Deendayal Upadhyay centre of excellence for organic farming and modern agriculture seed bank.

 Acharya Devvrat later visited vegetable grafting centre. He expressed satisfaction over the research work and other activities in the agriculture sector and said the benefit of research work should reach to the farmers. He said that there was a need for scientific research in natural farming and making famers aware about its benefits.  He added that Himachal Pradesh has already started work in natural farming and a large number of farmers are adopting it.
