HP Cabinet Decisions

The Cabinet in its meeting held here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur decided to open new Divisions of HPPWD at Kotla Behar in Jaswan-Pragpur Vidhan Sabha constituency, at Indora  in Indora Assembly constituency  in Kangra district and to create new  PWD Sub Divisions  at Jandhuta in Bilaspur district,  at Pangna in Mandi district and at Bogdhar in Sirmaur district to facilitate the people of the areas alongwith creation and filling up  of requisite  posts to man these newly created Divisions and Sub Divisions.

Nod was also accorded by the Cabinet to increase the honorarium of teachers appointed under School Management Committee policy by 20 percent per month from 1st April, 2019 which would benefit 2635 SMC teachers.

It also decided to increase the honorarium of part time water carriers in Elementary and Higher Education Departments from Rs. 2200 to Rs. 2400 per month from 1st April, 2019. This decision will give relief to 2268 part time contract water carriers. 

The Cabinet gave its approval to increase honorarium of cook-cum-helpers engaged under Mid Day Meal Scheme in the schools from existing Rs. 1800 to Rs. 2000 per month for ten academic months with effect from 1st April, 2019. This decision will benefit about 21750 cook cum helpers working in the State.

The Cabinet also decided to enhance the annuity of Kirti Chakras winners from existing Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh at par with winners of Mahavir Chakras.

It gave its nod to upgrade veterinary dispensary Ronhaat in Sirmaur district to veterinary hospital alongwith creation of three posts of different categories.

It also decided to open new fire Station in Sansarpur Terrace in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of seven posts of various categories to manage this station.

The Cabinet accorded its permission to upgrade Police Chowki Hatali in Mandi district to Police Station and Police Chowki Kunihar in Solan district to Police Station alongwith creation and filling up of 16 posts of different categories for smooth functioning of these stations.

It also gave its consent to open new Industrial Training Institutes at Ladbhadol in Jogindernagar of Mandi district, at Sataun and Amboya in Paonta Sahib tehsil of Sirmaur district along-with creation and filling up of 42 posts of various categories to manage these Industrial Training Institutes.

The Cabinet gave its approval to open Horticulture Sub Centre at Basadhar in development block Theog in Shimla district to facilitate the fruit growers of the area.

The Cabinet gave its nod to open new Sub Division of Irrigation and Public Health Department at Bhadrota in Mandi district.

It also approved creation of new Sub Division of IPH at Chandol under Noradhar division in Sirmaur district besides carving out two sections of IPH at Kheri and Neripul alongwith creation of 8 posts of different categories.

It gave its nod to open ten Atal Adarsh Vidhyalayas in different parts of the State viz. Bairathi in Bilaspur district, Satyas in Chamba district, Lambagaon and Paraur/Valha in Kangra district, Chail and Sarkaghat in Mandi district, Chopal in Shimla district, Bandali in Sirmaur district and Gaihara in Una district to provide residential quality education to the students.

The Cabinet decided to start Post Graduate classes in political science, history, hindi and economics in Lal Bahadur Shastri Government College, Sarsawatinagar in Shimla district to facilitate the students of the area.

It gave its approval to create new Elementary Education Block at Rewalsar in Mandi district by carving it from Balh, Saigalu, Gopalpur-I and II Education Blocks.  

It also gave its consent to open new Education Block at Jol/Chowkimanyar in Una district rationalizing it from Education Blocks of Bangana and Amb.

The decided to upgrade Government Primary Schools Bambyar-Badyar, Bara Chakli, Ghargon Palsho and Gussan in Sirmaur district to Government Middle Schools, Government Middle Schools Doon Deria and Kotla  Molar in Sirmaur district, Government Middle Schools Seru and Gujrodhar in Mandi district, Government Middle School Plasla in Bilaspur district and Government Middle School Kasba Kaleri in Kangra district and Government Middle Schools, Choparasa at Rujjak and Basturi-II in Kullu district to High Schools Government High Schools Soyal and Bashing in Kullu district, Government High School Galoo in Mandi district, Government High Schools, Kotla Barog, Chhog Tali,   Sadiyar and Muglanwala Kartarpur in Sirmaur district, Government High Schools, Mundkhar in Bilaspur district, Government High School Sural in Chamba district, Government High School Badehar in Hamirpur district and Government High School Thana in Solan district to Government Senior Secondary Schools. 

The Cabinet decided to open new primary school at Ashayari in Gram Panchayat Ashayari under Education Block Shillai of Sirmaur district.

It gave its approval to fill up 11 posts of different categories in Economics and Statistics Department as backlog of OBC.

The Cabinet decided to open new Irrigation and Public Health Division at Jaswan Pragpur and new Sub Division at Rakkar in Kangra district alongwith creation and filling up of requisite posts.

The Cabinet gave its approval to open new Sub Division of IPH at Dadahu under Nahan Division in Sirmaur district.

The Cabinet also decided to provide essential commodities like wheat, flour and rice to APL consumers at the rates being given to BPL consumers in Lahaul valley of Lahaul-Spiti district from 4/2019 to 9/2019.

It gave its nod to create six posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) and six posts of Peon in newly created Sub Divisional Election Offices at Fatehpur, Nagrota Bagwan, Shahpur, Thunag, Jandhuta and Swarghat.

It also decided in principle to upgrade 100 bedded Civil Hospital, Sundernagar in Mandi district to 150 bedded Civil Hospital.

It gave its nod to open new Primary Health Centre at Tattapani in Mandi district.

It also decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Ronhaat in Sirmaur district to Community Health Centre.

The Cabinet accorded its approval to upgrade Community Health Centre Ladbhadol in Mandi district to 50 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation of 14 posts of different categories.

It also decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Shillai in Sirmaur district to 100 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation 17 posts.

It also gave its nod to open new Primary Health Centre at Morla in Mandi district.

The Cabinet decided to upgrade 30 bedded Community Health Centre Bharari in Bilaspur district to 50 bedded Community Health Centre.

It decided to upgrade Community Health Centre Rehan in Kangra district to 50 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation of 13 posts of different categories to manage the institution.

It gave its approval to upgrade 50 bedded civil hospital Ghumarwin in Bilaspur district to 100 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation of 17 posts.

It decided to open new Primary Health Centre at Jhakri in Shimla district.

It also decided to upgrade 30 bedded Community Health Centre Chadiyar in Kangra district to 50 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation of requisite posts.

The Cabinet gave its permission to open new Health Sub Centres at Gram Panchayats Saroa, Saleti and Aloh in Kangra district.

It also gave its approval to open Primary Health Centres at Amargarh and Gorkhuwala in Sirmaur districts.

It gave its nod to open Primary Health Centre at Jhangi in Mandi district.

It gave its approval to open Health Sub Centres at Sharti and Bagra Galu in Mandi district.

The Cabinet gave its approval to open new Primary Health Centres at Barma Papri and Shambuwala in Sirmaur district.  

   It decided to open new polytechnics in Siraj of Mandi district alongwith creation and filling up of 115 posts of various categories.

It also decided to open independent office of Block Medical Officer at Sunni in Shimla district.

It also gave its nod to upgrade Health Sub Centre Dharwarthach in Mandi district to Primary Health Centre.

The Cabinet decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Kheriyan in Kangra district to Community Health Centre.

It also decided to upgrade Civil Hospital Bhoranj in Hamirpur district to 100 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation 12 posts of different categories.

It also decided to upgrade 30 bedded Civil Hospital, Amb in Una district to 100 bedded Civil Hospital alongwith creation and filling up of 13 posts.

It also decided to upgrade Primary Health Centre Beetan in Una distirct to Community Health Centre.

It also gave its consent to open Health Sub Centre at Gugga Gehrwin in Bilaspur district.

The Cabinet decided to open Primary Health Centre at Saloh in Una district.

It also decided to open Health Sub Centre in Gram Panchayat Phalan in Kullu district.

The Cabinet gave its nod to Health Sub Centre at Murah in Mandi district.
