Skill Development Allowance Scheme-2013 launched for skill upgradation of educated unemployed youth. Skill Development Allowance of Rs 1000 per month is being given to educated unemployed. This allowance is Rs 1500 per month for persons with disabilities. The age limit for eligibility under the scheme is 16 years to 35 years and educational qualification is 8th pass. Decision to provide relaxation in educational qualification to candidates interested in pursuing training in certain vocation like masonry, carpentry, plumber etc.
