Smt. Prabha Rau, Governor and Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister have expressed deep shock and grief over the sad demise of four persons of Pangi (Tribal area) who were recently trapped in a snowstorm while crossing the 'Saach Pass' during their travel from Chamba to Pangi.

Expressing his deepest condolences, Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss. He has also directed the district administration to provide immediate ex-gratia amount to next of kins of the victims of the tragedy.
