Dr. Vinod Pathak, Director, Health Services said here today that 24 cases of diarrhoea were reported from different part of Shimla town. He said that out of these, six cases were admitted at IGMC and one at DDU, Shimla. He said that the remaining cases were treated as outpatient (11 at Civil Dispensary, Sanjauli and six at Deen Dayal Upadhya Hospital, Shimla).

He further said that the health teams continued their visit today also and visited 171 houses, distributed 147 ORS packets and 650 Chlorine Tablets in the affected area. He said that IEC activities in the form of miking and house visits were going-on in the affected area.

He said that the situation in the affected Sanjauli areas is under control and the Department monitoring the situation on day to day basis.
